Last night saw the last in the series of ‘Brides of Franc’. The series has been entertaining us for the past few months and providing much to talk about particularly among those planning their own weddings. I had the good fortune to be involved with three of the episodes- two as the wedding photographer and one as the stills photographer for the production company. I can honestly say that it was a privilege to work with all of the parties inolved; the Weddings by Franc team, Power Pictures and, most importantly, the couples themselves.
Here are a few shots from the last night’s last show in the series- Patricia and Lou’s wedding in Central Park, Manhattan.

and the man who made it all possible!

I just had to post a photo from yesterday’s portrait shoot. This little guy completely stole my heart, what a charmer! It turns out his parents have both done yoga in The Yoga Shala above Argos in Galway which is run by very good friends of mine, David and Laragh Cunningham. I think some of the pregnancy yoga classes that his mom did rubbed off on him!

I had such a lovely time yesterday photographing style columnist and guru- the very french and very fab Delila. Delila has a weekly column in the Galway Advertiser with great tips and tricks to make us all more gorgeous. We were graciously allowed to use the Burren Suite in the Radison Hotel and I have to say that if you haven’t seen the new decor in the lobby, bar and cafe area you should go check it out as it looks better than it ever has- very swank! I took this photo of Delila before we officially started our shoot. We had just had a little chat and a coffee but I thought the warm rich colours of the cafe suited her beautifully. I have loads more gorgeous shots that we took in the Burren Suite but haven’t had a chance to process them yet.

Here is an article in the advertiser with some advice from Delila.
If you are in the process of trying to pick your wedding dress, sort out your bridesmaids and are feeling a bit lost why not give Delila a ring- she can definitely help you discover your ‘wow’ dress! You can ring Delila at (087) 6391956.

…who spent a bit more time playing than assisting but since she’s only five I ‘ll let it go. This time.

I’m still on holidays but managed to squeeze in a little work at the same time. Only, it wasn’t really work. I spent the day with the infamous (well at least in Bayport) McQuade clan who have been very special friends to my mother and I for many years. Due to a pretty lucky coincedence all bar one family member are visiting at the same time I am- the opportunity to get a family photo was too good to pass up so out came the camera.
Here they are Grandma Lou and Grandpa Jack:

and their gorgeous grandchildren:

and the whole clan (except one- we missed you Pat!)
