I am on my way out the door but wanted to post a link to an article sent to me regarding the death of my friend and collegue Trent Keegan.
This article was written by a collegue of Trent’s in Nairobi and opens up many questions about why he was murdered. For his family’s sake and for all of those who met him on his travels I hope the truth will someday be known- is the very least that he deserves.
You can read the article here.

While my mother, Lily and I were staying in Montauk we had the good luck to meet up with an extremely fun and friendly family. Over the next three days this family and their four gorgeous children practically adopted us into their family. They invited us along to their campfires on the beach, took us along to play mini golf, included our beach chairs in their ‘inner circle’ on the beach and most importantly- played with Lily!
Here are just a few photos to say thank you to them for their generosity and friendliness- the best thing is that we have all booked the same week again in Montauk next year so we’ll get to do it all over.
Toasting marshmellows on the beach, mmmmmmmm.

On our last night there we let off some chinese lanterns on the beach, so beautiful!

Their two beautiful daughters, can’t wait to see them next year…

Lily with her new friends.
The whole gang.

See you next year!

…who spent a bit more time playing than assisting but since she’s only five I ‘ll let it go. This time.

I’m still on holidays but managed to squeeze in a little work at the same time. Only, it wasn’t really work. I spent the day with the infamous (well at least in Bayport) McQuade clan who have been very special friends to my mother and I for many years. Due to a pretty lucky coincedence all bar one family member are visiting at the same time I am- the opportunity to get a family photo was too good to pass up so out came the camera.
Here they are Grandma Lou and Grandpa Jack:

and their gorgeous grandchildren:

and the whole clan (except one- we missed you Pat!)

Just had to post a little bit about my trip up to oxygen on Sunday. I can’t say too much about it as it will be on telly at the end of September but I was part of a crew documenting an onstage proposal in the middle of Oxegen- it was AMAZING! I can’t wait until the show airs as there was so much fun and drama it is going to be a great show. I will definitely put up the details of when the series will be airing- romance, drama and Franc- ablolutely must see tv!
Here are a few sneeky peaks in the meantime to give you a taste of what went on:
Franc, as you have never seen him before!

The crowd was delighted by the unexpected show:

during the proposal:

Happy couple!

and then, much much much much later during the wrap party back in the caravan, David Power- producer of the series- snapped this shot of me- if you are wondering about the hat it could only belong to the fabulous Franc! To protect the dignity of the others present I will refrain from posting any other party photos!
