I am off tomorrow morning en route to New York. I am really excited about this trip because I will be shooting one of the ‘brides of Franc’ weddings in Central Park. I can’t wait to see what Franc can do in the big apple!
I will be back in the office on the 9th of March (I am taking the opportunity to extend the trip for a bit to spend time with my family on Long Island). I will have my laptop with me and I’ll be checking emails when I can so do feel free to send me an email if you need to contact me for any reason.

In honour of the most romantic day of the year I decided to post some photos of my most recent wedding. If you read my blog you probably already know that I have a very soft spot for americans (makes sense, since I am one!). I am very lucky that I often get to work with Anne Lannier- an american wedding planner that specialises in americans getting married in Ireland.
This wedding was a mixture- the bride is american and the groom is English. We spent an absolutely gorgeous day in Ashford with the ceremony taking place on the grounds. The two families and their friends were so great to work with as were the bride and groom- the day was full of the two most important ingredients for a wedding- love and joy. These are just a few images- I am still editing the rest and they are going to be fabulous!
You’d never guess how cold it was by looking at this shot- Stacy was such a trooper.

You have to love a girl that wears wellies for wedding shoes (they were Burberry though!).

And- especially for Valentine’s day… a bit of romance…

Thanks to Stacy, Graham and all of their friends and families for being so much fun on the day.

Hi, ok, I know I posted three weeks ago that the episode of ‘An Engagement with Franc’ which I am in (actually in- not just taking photos behind the scenes) was going to be on…and then it wasn’t. But its back up on the bbc1 website as being on this friday at 8:30. I really hope it is on because it will be a great show- all of the ‘Engagement with Franc’ shows have been so good- I wish there were more in the series!
Another show that is definitely worth watching is a series about Inis Mean (I am so sorry, being an american I won’t even attempt to write the actual name of show but it is on TG4 at 9:30 pm on Sundays. It is produced by Power Pictures who have done, among many other things, the Franc shows- ‘Brides of Franc’ and ‘Engagement with Franc’.
Here are the link for the show this Friday - photo by me

While it wasn’t exactly a ‘Franc’ event we had our own big party this past weekend for my daughter’s 6th birthday. I know that some mom’s (and dads perhaps) read my blog so I thought I ‘d mention the wonderful princess we had to entertain the troops. Princess Nina did beautiful facepainting on all the girls and kept them happy with tons of fun and party games- I would highly recommend her if you are having a party- particularly if it is for a little girl with a thing for all things princess.
